Hello,
--- quote ---
Friendly reminder of 2 years without new posts. Is this still an issue in
1.3.33?
--- quote ---
the initial problem was fixed long ago.
That GameGuard problem is covered by other bugs.
Regards

Is this download link valid to reproduce the problem?

Bug #: 29126
Summary: Stale old gecko files remain after Wine Gecko
uninstallation
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.33
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: mshtml
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: t.artem(a)mailcity.com
Classification: Unclassified
It's more a question rather than a bug report, but I've noticed that after Wine
Gecko uninstallation, all its files under windows/system32/gecko remain intact.
E.g. after I've upgraded to Wine 1.3.33 I have two gecko engines installed -
1.3 and 1.4, so I `wine uninstall`ed v1.3 but like I said all its files are
still there.

Tested on Wine 1.3.33 using a clean prefix and it does not work.
The behaviour of the failure is different now, when you click on add a new
connection no window appears at all.
The controls on the main window get all messed up, the maximize and minimize
controls disappear from the main window, screen resolution nor window manager
managed windows make any difference on this behaviour.

Summary: Regression: League of Legends installer now crashes on
startup.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.25
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: kernel32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: scott(a)open-vote.org
In 1.3.24 and prior, the freely downloadable League of Legends game would
install, though it ran into issues later. As of 1.3.25, launching the
installer causes it to crash on startup without displaying its "cancel/forward"
screen.
Running a regression test, this seems to be the culprit:
3d81e97c753a73646081b1084ad64c88b71f4cc8 is the first bad commit
commit 3d81e97c753a73646081b1084ad64c88b71f4cc8
