Summary: Main window in SeeYou displays nothing and doesn't
update
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.24
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown

ReportedBy: rmk+wine(a)arm.linux.org.uk
Fedora 14.
Running SeeYou (flight analysis software - www.naviter.si) and loading a flight
(IGC file) results in the map window showing but remaining blank.
Selecting the graphs or statistics file results in the window changing
appearance, but the main contents is never shown.
The mouse context changes correctly when moving the mouse around the window.
Right clicking brings up the correct menus, but when the menu is cancelled, it
remains on the screen.
It is almost although the application is not being notified that the window is
visible.
This application worked fine with previous versions of wine. However, I will
confirm with previous versions in due course.
If you need any additional information, let me know (and let me know how to get
it.) If you need an IGC file to try out yourself with this, I can supply one
too.
Thanks.

The sond stop works.
The sound works well in wine 1.3.24, but stop working in 1.3.25 and above.
But when I test the sound in winecfg, it works. I use PulseAudio in my
ArchLinux x86_64.
When I see the logs, 1.3.24 and 1.3.28 both have some errors about alsa, but in
1.3.25 and above, it stop works.

I run a Borland Delphi program that prerfoms 2 seeks in an dbase database and
puts text from the found record into a richedit control.
With that patch included, there is a delay of several seconds before each info
gets displayed and the CPU goes to 100% busy.
Reverting the patch 3b5e14a9b0a925052e2b1b71f76a7f1eff6d84bf removes the delay.
The patch from 28889 has no effect.

2) I created a directory called "wine"
3) I entered into this directory with "cd wine".
4) I lauched configuration with "../wine-13.29/configure

It looks like that WINE cannot be compiled completely if configured outside the
source tree.
If I copy the content of /include directory from "wine-13.29" (where sources
are) to "wine" (where binaries are), so that a copy of "windef.h", "winbase.h",
etc will be placed there too, compilation completes successfully.

After upgrading from 1.3.24 sound stops working for Crimsonland. All version
from 1.3.25 to 1.3.27 do not have working sound.
I tried changing "Hardware acceleration" between Full and Emulated without
affect. The "Test Sound" button does produce sound and both UT3 and CivV have
working sound (all games installed in their own prefixes).
