Terminal output
CCleaner shows a dialog on first run asking whether to intelligently scan for
cookies to keep. This dialog also shows an icon (the CCleaner logo) which has a
black background. On Windows XP, the icon's background is transparent instead.
Same issue exists in 1.3.18, 1.2, 1.0.1, and 0.9.33.

Stalker rendering bug - gun and dead stalker rendered as dark blobs
Since wine-1.3.35, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl renders some ingame
objects as very dark blobs; it's presumably some sort of texture or lighting
issue. A screenshot is attached.
In case it matters, I'm using a Radeon 4870 with 11-11 fglrx drivers.
The bug only manifests itself in the game's static lighting mode; the dynamic
lighting mode has other issues instead.
Since this is a regression, I performed the bisect dance to elicit the
following cryptic message:

Hi,
This bug applies to the Buzzing Cars demo by Epsitec. It probably also applies
to some other Epsitec products: BlupiMania 2, Colobot and CeeBot.
Wine previously had problems with the rendering engine used by those titles
(see bug 13932). That bug was apparently fixed with Wine 1.3.33.
I'm testing with Lubuntu 11.10 64-bit, Nvidia driver version 96, Geforce Go
7300. On my system, since Wine 1.3.29 another problem appeared.
The screen (or window in virtual desktop mode) is black, sometimes with a few
lines of trash/garbage. These lines are output to the console repeatedly:

wine-1.3.34 (but not wine-1.3.33) gives me this error in CoD Modern Warfare 1,

It's a little bit tricky to bisect because it doesn't *always* happen, so I

No navigon device is needed to test the problem.
The login was known to work with wine 1.1.12 and NAVIGON Fresh Version 1.4.9,
but currently it fails too, therefore it might be a change at the navigon
server site.
MDAC needsto install before starting the installation of NAVIGON Fresh. Also
the fake dlls user32 and kernel32 needs to be removed from windows/system32
(see Bug #11754).
An account can be created at
https://www.navigon.com/site/de/de/my_navigon/user_registration .
After installing NAVIGON Fresh open it. When the initial setup (language,
directories) finished you will find a the "MYNavigon-Account" button in the
lower left corner. Pressing it the login screen open. Fill in your login,
password and press the next button. A messagebox with "undefined" opens for me.

Summary: Gekkeiju Online: Bad audio sync/latency
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.54.
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version
&iId=10780
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: benjo316(a)hotpop.com
Overview:
Audio is handled or synced incorrectly, and "echos" the entire time while you
play the game.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open the program.
2) After the auto-updater finishes, start playing.
3) Listen to the sounds.
Actual Results: What the application did after performing the above steps.
Audio (music and effects) sounds like it is echoing(like in kobodeluxe when the
latency/frequency is set incorrectly).
Expected Results:
Audio should play clearly.
Additional Information:
I currently cannot retest with version 0.9.55 on Ubuntu 8.04, because of a
bug[1] that currently causes Wine to segfault. As soon as that bug is resolved
I will come back with an account of if it runs on the latest version of
wine(currently 0.9.55), and, if not, output from the console.
Anyone else who can confirm or provide extra details is welcome to.

Window decorations (title bar, borders) are missing when certain full-screen
games/apps are running in virtual desktop mode.
One example is Crystal Cubes (a small, freeware Tetris clone, download link
added to url):
1. Create a new wineprefix, set a virtual desktop sized to 1024x768.
2. Install the game, use winetricks to install native d3dx9_36.dll
3. Start the game (by default it is running in full-screen mode) and see that
window decorations are missing.
I tested on Fedora 16 + Gnome (with or without compositing).
This is due to the following commit:
