Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.8
Platform: x86-64

Status: UNCONFIRMED

wine Risen.exe
The game runs fine except for one thing. It is impossible to rotate the
character/camera using the mouse. Nothing happens if you move the mouse.
Clicking works ingame.
In the menu the mouse works fine.
I tried:
- Native dinput.dll
- setting MouseWarpOverride to force
Both did not help.
I attached the output of "wine Risen.exe".
I will also provide "WINEDEBUG=+dinput" and "WINEDEBUG=+x11drv".

Summary: Gothic III: Flickering black/textured polygones at some
places
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.15
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: svenbrauch(a)googlemail.com
At some places in the world of Gothic III, especially at towns (places with
many objects), there are polygones in the air which are either black or
textured. They are not "steady", changing the camera view and moving the hero
makes them flicker, move or change. Textured polygones are more steady and more
solid than black ones.
Looking at these polygones decreases performance of the game, the more of them
is visible, the lower the performance.
I *think* (im not sure) the appearing of these polygones is related to this
error message:
fixme:d3d_shader:shader_glsl_select >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_OPERATION
(0x502) from glUseProgramObjectARB @ glsl_shader.c / 3584
which obviously doesn't say much (... or does it do?).
The polygones appear with both fbo and backbuffer offscreen rendering method.
With fbo, performance decrease is, as far as i can see, worse.
The problems are acceptable in the desert, in the ice part of the world, and
generally outside towns; towns in myrtana are kind of unplayable, full of these
things. Here's a screenshot:

STDERR output to terminal after running "wine foobar2000.exe 2>&1 | tee
~/stderr.txt"
Steps to reproduce :
1) Download the latest version of Foobar200 and install it :
http://www.foobar2000.org/files/42c6bc44ef7b843494a549930b1588b5/foobar2000…
( v1.1.3 as of this bug report )
2) Download the "UPnP/DLNA Renderer, Server, Control Point 0.99.31" (
http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_upnp ) component/DLL and extract
it into ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/foobar2000/components/
3) Launch Foobar2000 and click on the "View" menu, then click on "UPnP
Controller"
4) After a few seconds the main window should disappear and Foobar2000 should
display a dialog box with the title "foobar2000 has crashed", with the body
"Would you like to send a report about the crash for analysis?" and with the
choices "Send Report", "View Report", "Help" and "Cancel".
5) Click on "View Report" and the proverbial Wine message box entitled "Program
Error" is displayed with the normal content : "The program foobar2000.exe has
encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience....."

Summary: Wine doesn't build with binutils-gold
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.21
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
gold is a new replacement for ld which is much faster
(doesn't matter too much for wine, but it helps some
apps a lot).
Installing gold as the system linker, e.g. by installing binutils-gold
in Ubuntu Koala, and then building wine, fails with
/usr/bin/ld: -init: unknown option
Presumably this is gold's fault, but it'd be nice to have confirmation.

Summary: Missing 'msvcirt' from Component list
Product: WineHQ Bugzilla
Version: 3.0.2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: bugzilla-unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dasnyderx(a)yahoo.com
I filed the bug, #16572, in regards to a missing component in the
'msvcirt.dll'. However, while looking over the bug, I noticed that the
'Component' selected is incorrect. Currently, the component indicated as being
at fault with the bug is 'msvcrt.dll'. The component at fault -- and not
selectable in the 'Component' dropdown -- is 'msvcirt'. As this is the correct
component at fault for the bug I reported and a DLL of the same name is shipped
with Wine, I would suggest this DLL name, msvcirt, be added to the components
selectable on the 'Components' dropdown.

Pretty annoying, since there's the forced 5 minute intro.
I've verified that alt-tab works on windows. On wine, you can alt-tab away just
fine, but when you try to alt-tab back to the game, it's hung/frozen.
