All the log.
I have attached a the game play.
The game's sound lags alot, and the game will start to freeze and lock up, it's
not a memory leak (from what I can see).
Do you think the Component d3d is causing both the issues? It could also be
dplay.

Easily resolved - I've gifted you a copy from GOG (you should receive the
redeem code in your stefandoesinger(a)gmx.at account).

Yes, the bug is still present. Tested with
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Joost-Download-71452.html, using the
following command:
wine start xulrunner/tvprunner.exe application.ini.
With the patch from comment #13 now applied fails with "Invalid signature
found on files". Maybe a regression?

Summary: World of Warcraft: takes 2 minutes to log out because

Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.23
Platform: PC-x86-64

OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P4
Component: ntdll
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: xxjorisxx+wine(a)gmail.com
In a very reproducible manner ever since World of Warcarft was updated to patch
3.0+ have I been having trouble to log out normally - after 2 minutes it simply
times out and shows "You have been disconnected from the server" which
coincides the following messages:
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x4eafa34 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0037, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec)
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x4eafa34 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0037, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec)
>> here it's back in the login screen showing that I have been disconnected
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39deb4,0x00000000), stub!
Please note that for the rest World of Warcraft is working more or less
smoothly.

Well, the main reason why I never was able to fix this bug is that there's no
demo available which I can use to debug this game myself :-/

That is as it's always been since 0.9.16, it did work if you set your display
to 16 bit in your /etc/xorg.conf.
The main issue here is to be that wine doesn't seem to do any conversion for 16
bit ddraw surfaces(or it's broken some way or other), and it seems to have done
in 0.9.16.
Sadly, as you can see from the age of this bug report no wine dev gives half a
shit about this, so you can just forget about getting this fixed, unless by
accident. ;)
Take care.

Yes, still crashes. Tested under wine-1.3.23.

I don't think so, because demo does not contain autorun.exe.

I just bought the version from GoG (1.1) and there seems to be no progress
(wine 1.3.22). In virtual desktop mode it works although it sticks to the
original resolution (640x480 I guess) no matter what I put in winecfg.
In wine full screen and with Fullscreen=0 in Torment.ini it works in a window
without borders. If Fullscreen=1, all I get is a black screen.
In window mode, before starting the game, there is a message:
"Your desktop is not set to 16-bit color depth. As a result, movies will not
play in windowed mode. In addition, many spell effects and other special
graphical features may not work properly. It is suggested that you run in
fullscreen mode or switch your desktop to 16-bit color depth before running in
windowed mode. Continue at current color depth?"
In the terminal, for window mode, there is:
err:d3d_surface:surface_create_dib_section Failed to create DIB section.
err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash
err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash
