wine Divinity2.exe
In some situations the game will crash. For example at the initiation city near
the mage trainer there are a few boxes. If you destroy them, the game will
crash. Next is when you go back to the airship there will be a sequence and
after the dialog you can move where you want. If you turn around after that
dialog the game will also crash.
I tried various times and those crashes are 100% reproducable with version 1.03
of the game (original dvd, no crack!).
I attached the output from terminal to this post.
The last lines are:

In the versions description the applications is rated with Silver and the wine

reported is 1.3.37.
This is an odd behaviour.

Summary: Crysis Wars ded servers crash in wineconsole on
different DISPLAYs
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.36
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: liquitsnake(a)gmx.net
Classification: Unclassified
I am running the Crysis Wars dedicated server through a script. This app needs
an X server, but doesn't do anything with it. It just spawns a console window
displaying the server console.
To prevent the need for an X server, I am using Xvfb (a "fake" X server). Let's
assume that this Xvfb session is :10.
I run the application with DISPLAY=:10 and wineconsole --backend=curses. This
gives me the server console on the controlling terminal, but it will still run
inside the Xvfb session.
This works extremely well.
The problems starts when I try to run another instance of my application. I
start another Xvfb session for it (let's assume :11), and run it like described
above, but with DISPLAY=:11.
Both instances of the app use the same wineserver, but run on different
DISPLAYs and show their console onto the controlling terminal.
Except that the second instance always crashes halfway through loading a map
with this error:
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 10 (X_UnmapWindow)
Resource id in failed request: 0x600001
Serial number of failed request: 38

Terminal output and backtrace
HTML-Kit includes a simple web browser that can be accessed from within the
main program window. This browser can load web pages in Wine, but crashes as
soon as any link is clicked. To reproduce, click the online tab in the upper
tab bar, navigate to www.winehq.org, and click on any link on the page.
winetricks ie8 works around it. As with bug 23827, I couldn't get a backtrace
except by running winedbg manually and setting $BreakOnFirstChance=1.

Bug #: 28727
Summary: The Application Memory Map has worked under Wine for
years, but fails in Kubuntu 11.10
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.28
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: winehq(a)hadrian-way.co.uk
Classification: Unclassified
I have used the application Memory Map under Wine for years, in fact I posted
some of the entries for it in the Application Database. It has always worked
well for me, through several upgrades of the underlying OS.
Yesterday, I upgraded my system to Kubuntu 11.10 by a clean installation
(retaining my /home partition) and today I re-installed Wine. When I launch
Memory Map I get a dialog headed 'Program Error' that says 'The program
MMNav.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are
sorry....'
The supporting info simply points me here.
Since this has worked for so long, I have no idea what version of Wine was
running on 11.04, but clearly something has changed. Any help as to what to
look for and how I can get more info about the problem would be appreciated.
