I have installed the needed direct x components (i think) and have the C++ 2005 Red. installed. I installed wine gecko but the screen is just blank. This has been true in the last several versions of wine. I am using ubuntu hardy on an amd xp machine with a asus mother board and a 2gig processor I have 1 gig of ram and a nvidia g4 video card with 120megs of video ram. To repeat behavior: open Dragon NaturallySpeaking. open Notepad Within NatSpeak, open the DictationBox and dictate into it. The text appears in the DictationBox. Say "Transfer that" to transfer text to Notepad. Repeat about ten times. It doesn't seem to matter if I close and re-open Dictation Box a lot, or if I keep it open until I have dictated a lot of text.
