Sound bug is fixed.
One should open a new bug report for the display problem.

Going for the easy way out and using #define USE_WS_PREFIX just breaks things
worse (see attached).
Looks a bit similar to 16661, so some more includes may help, but filing a bug
for now.
Kai, perhaps you could take a look? If you need SSH access, let me know.

Bug #: 30265
Summary: Guild Wars hang after download screen
Product: Wine
Version: 1.4
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: francois.melchior(a)belgacom.net
Classification: Unclassified
This occurs with a Mesa Radeon Gallium R300g (and also with OpenChrome and Mesa
Rasterizer, but these maybe aren't sufficient at all for playing a game, while
R300g should; one day (1 year ago?) the game worked with the same computer with
the Radeon card - it was probably the old legacy mesa 'driver').
I tested with Wine 1.2.3 and 1.4
Note that the bug doesn't show with an NVidia proprietary driver (I have not
managed to test Nouveau on that computer because it is an x86-64 installation)
The game installs without problem;
when launching, it does hang after having terminated to download from the
server: the 'download' window remains, and the mouse pointer disappears when
over that window.
Wine 1.4, the only difference in console messages between the non-working
installations and the working NVidia installation is one message, that appears
multiple times:
fixme:d3d:check_fbo_compat Format WINED3DFMT_R10G10B10A2_UNORM with
rendertarget flag is not supported as FBO color attachment, and no fallback
specified.
For R300g and Wine 1.2.3, the additional messages are:
err:d3d:check_fbo_compat >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_VALUE (0x501) from
Framebuffer format check @ utils.c / 968
fixme:d3d:check_fbo_compat Format WINED3DFMT_R32_FLOAT with rendertarget flag
is not supported as FBO color attachment, and no fallback specified.
