backtrace from wine
I installed a repack version of Skyrim (game version 1.6) with Wine 1.5.8 but
both Skyrim launcher.lnk and Skyrim launcher.exe crashes with errors.
Skyrim.exe and other repack's files which normally starts the game crashes too.
During the installation process i accidentally re-open install.exe and it
closed with tmp-file fatal error but previous installation ended without any
errors.
P.S. - Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32 bit.

Bug #: 31190
Summary: Regression: Starcraft II jitters / stutters with wine
>= 1.5.7
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.7
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: petkra(a)chem.gla.ac.uk
Classification: Unclassified
Hello,
I have stumbled upon what I believe is a regression introduced somewhere
between 1.5.6 and 1.5.7. Starcraft II's behaviour is considerably worse since
1.5.7 - while FPS remains the same, the game is much less responsive, and even
moving the screen around one can feel quite a lot of jerkiness.
This problem persists with 1.5.8.
System info:
Arch Linux 64bit,
Linux 3.4.4
Mesa 8.0.3
Xorg 1.12.3
xf86-video-ati 1:6.14.6
works fine with wine 1.5.6 (and before)
works badly with wine 1.5.7 and 1.5.8
If you need me to test anything, shout.
Cheers,
Peter

As of 1.5.9 The Witcher 2 is no longer able to fully display a scene. Instead
only about half of the geometry and shaders are rendered (to very interesting
affects).

use `winetricks -q --no-isolate cygwin` to install cygwin.
An warning dialog says:
"The current ini file is from a newer version of setup.exe. If you have any
trouble installing, please download a fresh version from
http://www.cygwin.com/setup.exe"
After that, an error dialog says:
"

The workaround in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21206#c6 works for me

Summary: Starcraft II fps drop when selecting/highlighting
units
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.8
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2

In Starcraft II the fps drop considerably when mousing over a unit or building
(from 60fps to 20fps or less) the slowdown occurs every time the selection
circle is shown from what I observed but it's severely increased when you
repeatedly switch units by mousing over a lot of units for example.
This is not happening with wine 1.5.6
