The software downloader they ship starts to install fine, but during install it gives an error saying it can't communicate with Amazon's servers. winetricks vcrun2008 works around that bug, and instead says a problem occurred (which is a different bug). However, after going through the initial setup of office I get a message that "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. its prob not Available or may need to get an Up-to-date 1 cuzz its a Repository problem if u unclick the check box for that PPA up there that says its not Found it may need a newer 1 in that web site maybe... On wine, according to WINEDEBUG=+fps, it's about 8 FPS. The terminal is flooded with: fixme:d3d:IWineD3DOcclusionQueryImpl_GetData 0x13f70758 Wrong thread, returning 1. assuming that the trace+fps actually outputs once per second, then I'm seeing about 400 of those fixme's per second(!).
