Summary: Elona crashes on exit, crash confirmation windows

Elona game can't properly exit and crashes. It stays in frozen state for a
while until 'Program error' windows appears.
In attachment you can find full log from game start to exit. I just started it
and immediately quit.
Attempt to close it by Alt+F4 gives similar results.
Exit in this game is the only reliable way to invoke 'game save' without cheats
or using no-turning-back items.

Screenshot showing glitches on the character sprites
A regression in the implementation of wined3d causes a lot of
rendering artifacts in certain games, for example the NekoPara series on
steam.
Screenshot attached.
The offending commit is
1ddf2e47e252fd30976237bd190a98b310909301 wined3d: Use immutable storage for 2D
textures.
After reverting that commit and it's child
(4f9642d0e90b941e0316137523dbf12588c4bccc), it displays fine again.
Since I don't know too much about the 3d implementation, I'd be glad to have
someone help me with that issue.
Tested on OpenSuse Tumbleweed (most recent), 32bit wine on 64bit OS.

Summary: Support copying text from dialog boxes
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.3
Platform: x86-64

On Windows, when a dialog box pops up, pressing Ctrl+C copies the text of that
box into the clipboard so you could paste it in pure text. Here is a more
detailed description:
http://www.nilpo.com/2009/01/windows-xp/copy-text-from-error-message-dialog…
In Wine, however, pressing Ctrl+C when a dialog box is displayed does nothing
at all. Nothing is placed in the clipboard.
This feature would be a real time saver. In my case, I'm compiling a set of
documentation for one program, and it provides some documentation only in the
form of dialog boxes. Copying it all letter by letter would take hours if not
days, while on Windows it takes just a few minutes. Not to mention that direct
copies assure that you get exactly what is written in the dialog box without
spelling mistakes, which is especially important when copying error codes
(where characters such as O/0 are easy to confuse).

Bug ID: 39291
Summary: Games made with Game Maker (8.1 Standard) have Key
Mapping issues
Product: Wine
Version: 1.7.51
Hardware: x86
OS: Mac OS X
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: andrewsuicune(a)gmail.com
In Wine 1.7.51 (and earlier), with games made in Game Maker (including but not
limited to 8.1 Standard), some key mappings do not work as intended.
For example, a game that uses the Z key works fine on Windows but on Mac,
hitting the key does absolutely nothing.
The only exception I can tell as of the moment is that the ESC key works as
intended and is able to quit the given program successfully.
I tested three different games made by different people, so I believe that this
is not limited to a specific game but may affect multiple games made using the
engine. Some of the games were made with newer versions of Game Maker (Studio)
while others were made with older versions (8.1 Standard).

If you do a default install of e-Sword 10.2.1 with any version of Wine from
1.5+1.73 (maybe lower but didn't try). Set version to Windows 7. With or
without winearch=win32. Choose 1Ki 8:17 (guarenteed example but does it in
other places as well) scroll the verse to the middle of the bible window and
click the verse. It will select it and then scroll up off the screen. (Verified
that this does not happen on native Windows).

Summary: Guild Wars 2 - periods if immense lag and stuttering
Product: Wine
Version: 1.9.23
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

In Guild Wars 2 I experience periods when the game starts to lag and stutter so
badly that I can't move or take any action. FPS will drop to 1-2 and even sound
will stutter. With normal wine, this also heavily affected the intro video
after character creation to the point several of the voiced lines were
unrecognizable.
While lowering graphics will increase FPS in normal periods, it has no effect
on stuttering periods or the frequency of their occurring..
The issue might possibly be related to sound, as I noticed several times that
stuttering seems to coincide with a sound effect being played for the first
time, or a character starting to talk for the first time. Other times however
it seems to not coincide with any sound events noticeable to me.
As suggested, switched to wine-staging and enabled CSMT. Results:
- Intro video is not affected anymore
- Stuttering periods appear less frequently, but they still do, and when they
do they still make the game unplayable until they end.
As suggested, also added a registry entry specifying my video memory, but this
had zero visible effect.
Using proprietary nVidia drivers.
VGA: GeForce GTX 750 Ti
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
System: Arch Linux 64 bit, fully updated
Don't know what logs I should attach or where to find them, please let me know
what you need and I'll add them.
