Bug #: 30673
Summary: smart cutter of http://www.fame-ring.com works fine
unless you use the "OPEN" button
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.2
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown

backtrace after the crash when pressing the button "OPEN"
The application
Smart Cutter Ps/Ts (PORTABLE)
(Download: http://www.fame-ring.com/smart.cutter.rar )
starts without problems. Immediately after pressing the button "OPEN" to select
a file to work with the program crashes.
The link above points to the "portable version".
I notice the same behaviour when using the setup-version
(http://www.fame-ring.com/SmartCutter.exe) but:
If I use the file browser given with this version (with opening by running the
file smart.exe of the installation folder), I can open a video file using the
context menu entry "edit media" and the main functions, add cut points and cut
a file, work fine.

Summary: Wow Hangs at login screen when coming from battle.net
launcher (only with gxapi Opengl)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.7.17
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: devoid42(a)gmail.com
When using the battle.net app launcher, starting Wow hangs on the initial
"connecting" dialog. I tested this with a fresh wine-prefix, the only wow
configuration change was the setting of openGL mode(the preferred wine gfx
api).
This hang presented itself both via setting opengl via Config.wtf or via the
commandline option -opengl via the battle.net settings for game settings and
adding it as an additional commandline option.
All tests done with:
wine-1.7.17
Nvidia Linux-x86_64 319.32

dialog wine
launch the game, and click the options button. the options dialog appears, and
all of its checkboxes are rendered incorrectly due to a missing BS_LEFTTEXT
window style (aka BS_RIGHTBUTTON). instead of the label being placed to the
left of the box as it is on windows, wine places it to the right.
the BS_RIGHT style is also missing from the checkboxes, however it has no
effect because extended window style WS_EX_RIGHT is already set.
all this can be verified by running WinSpy++ on wine and windows and comparing
the checkboxes' window styles on both platforms.
note: i haven't checked the window styles of the other controls in the dialog.
i leave that as an exercise.

While attempting to get better stacktraces with valgrind in some mesa code, I
noticed that if clang is used to compile mesa (11.0.6), I get these FIXMEs in
dbghelp. They do not occur with gcc afaict.
