There is a very specific message in kernel32 that is not using TRACE call: http://source.winehq.org/source/dlls/kernel32/process.c#1102 Why? Can this be fixed? The instruction in question is 0x0048d843: movl %cr4,%eax which appears to be invariant. This does not appear to be the same bug as bug #31518 which crashes due to a page fault, and only due to a specific graphics setting. Here the executable crashes early enough that attempting to run the setup produces the same error. First there is no title in the title bar of this window and the color is light grey instead of the standard Windows blue. When shifting focus a first time to the input window the title is shown in white, but is cut off before the end. When shifting focus back to the score window and shifting focus to the input window a second time, the title bar becomes black, still with white characters cut off before the end.
