Product: Wine

This was introduced in db8f599863b2158fe854b3d937db8257c660bab5. Note that it
was not present in the original patch by Gijs, but was introduced by the
changes made by Alexandre.
The problem is that one extra WCHAR is copied, but I'm not sure why Alexandre
decided to use offsetof, so I'm not sure how to fix it either.

Summary: ProfitChart RT crashes at startup

ProfitChart RT startup log
It was working very well until version 3.2.2.34. Any version after this crashes
at startup.
It shows a window saying that the program has encountered a serious problem and
needs to close. When clicking the button "Show Details" nothing is shown.
Terminal log is attached.
ProfitChart RT is a financial market application.
System information:
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
wine: 1.9.20 (with all optional dependencies installed)
Also tested with wine 1.9.19.
Official download link:
http://www.nelogica.com.br/produtos/bin/profitchart/profitchartRT_setup.exe
After installed, the program executable is located at:
~/.wine/drive_c/users/<username-here>/Application\
Data/Nelogica/ProfitChartRT/profitchart.exe
Unfortunately, only the latest version is provided for download. They don't
provide previous versions, so if you don't have version 3.2.2.34 or earlier
you'll not be able to run it until this issue is fixed. Asking support for
sending a previous version is useless because they simply tell to run it under
VirtualBox.

log or error
This bug seems similar to the big with ID 43813 , but there are some
differences, it seems. I'm running on VOID Linux and have the wine-32bit and
winetricks packages install via xbps. I used winetricks to install d3dx9-36 ,
d3dx9-43 , directx, and dotnet45. The LoL client works, but whenever a game
tries to launch, I get an error with the attached backtrace.txt . I've heard of
people having trouble with LoL while having chrome and similar applications
open due to the new anti-cheating things. I closed all other apps and
restarted, yet I still have the same issue. It's weird, other apps work through
wine just fine, and LoL used to work until a couple of patches ago. I was
wondering if anyone else was having an issue like this and found a solution.
Thanks~

The Build Logs would allow users to see errors and whether a certain feature is
not available, for example because of missing depencies or anything else.
I also saw that OBS is already providing the build logs.
For exmaple on this site (for others seeing this report: Look at the right box
"Build Results" and click on one of the "succeeded"-Packages, it will show the
Build Log then):
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:benoit_monin:branches:server:m…
Maybe there would be some way, to provide at least the newest build log(s) for
the most recent packages.

>~/poe_trace.txt 2>&
Each time I change a location (go from one map to another) there is a big
chance (like 30%) that the game will crash.
Sometimes the crash can be predicted: the game doesn't crash after the location
change, but the overlay map (you can toggle it's visibility with Tab key) gets
broken to the point that map's edges are not shown (only a few icons, like char
location and locations of some points of interest [such as portal, NPC,
waypoint, etc.] are shown) - this is a signal that the next location change
will crash the game with 99% probability.
The trace was recorded like this:
cd "~/wineprefixes/32/PoE/dosdevices/c:/Program Files/Grinding Gear Games/Path
of Exile/" && \
env WINEPREFIX="/home/uzer/wineprefixes/32/PoE" /opt/wine-staging/bin/wine

>~/poe_trace.txt 2>&1
wine-3.21 (Staging)
wineprefix is 32-bit, I failed to make the game run in a 64-bit prefix.

Newest version of Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas are unplayable due to "Problem
with sandbox environment" error (error code is CN03) during startup. It stopped
working for me after MTA upgrade to newest version (it worked on newest Wine
3.0-rc4 with old version of MTA). I regtested it using MTA nightly binaries in
https://nightly.mtasa.com:
mtasa_xp-1.5.6-rc-14682-20181005.exe - works
mtasa_xp-1.5.6-rc-14719-20181021.exe - does not work
There is no stacktrace information in logs but a lot of "Unhandled page fault".
It was caused by winedevice.exe crashing during driver loading (MTA uses kernel
driver FairplayKD.sys for its anticheat system). When I enabled normal crash
handling for winedevice.exe (no idea why it's disabled by default in kernel32)
I got stacktrace for the issue and it seems its caused by improper relocation
handling in load_driver_module. This function in case of non-page-aligned
driver handles relocations outside of loader and does it a bit different than
the loader. Default wine PE loader first loads all sections, process
relocations and then protects the pages from what I seen. Code in
load_driver_module processes relocations after pages are already protected so
it unprotects each page with relocations, update addresses and then changes
protection back. It does it one page at a time. Problem with MTA happens
because there is a relocation on a page boundary. Only one page is unprotected
so exception is raised. When I updated the code to unprotect next page as well
it worked good and MTA worked again.
I have a patch ready and going to send it after the issue is created.

Summary: Photoshop CS6 Layers display / hide function doesn't
work normaly
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal

AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: jeff.artik(a)gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified
When a layer in Photoshop CS6 is set to hidden or displayed, it normaly
disappear from the draw. But a bug doesn't allow this function works properly,
and you need to clic 2 times to hide correctly the layer (or resize the
photoshop windows). Unfortunatly, when you clic 2 times, the layer is show as
visible, but not on the draw.
In this example, the red square is marked as "hidden" but still present on the
draw (attachment)
Strage thing : to activate it, I simply need to resize the photoshop windows,
and the layer is hide.
I use open source ATI radeon drivers on an Imac 27 inch.

As of 3.15, both devel and staging, the battle.net app's buttons now have their
clickable areas mis-registered with their displayed areas.
For the left-hand column of games, one has to click 1-2 buttons below the
desired choice to cause it to highlight as selected.
For the top row of choices (games, social, shop, news), the clickable area is
both below and to the right of the button.
Choosing virtual desktop or windowed makes no difference.
This is new behaviour as of 3.15; 3.14 had no such issues.
No crashes.
