To reproduce: 1) Download the notepad++ installer: (no longer available, retest with 8.1.8) https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/v8.1.7/ $ sha256sum ~/Downloads/npp.8.1.7.Installer.exe 0abf9b40854082a82eee9e3013c374312b3471aa24e27fc5b5b5dac95ce3bce3 /home/cedric/Downloads/npp.8.1.7.Installer.exe 2) Prepare wine: $ rm -rf ~/.wine $ wineboot 3) run the installer (todo; test from ~/Download) $ wine ~/Downloads/npp.8.1.7.Installer.exe 4) accept the defaults. Reproduction: 1. Use wine or wine-staging 6.18. 2. Install and run Steam client. Expected result: Steam login window with text. Actual result: No text is present on Steam login window. See attached image.
