Building with winegcc is not reproducible because the name of a temporary file
is included.[1] The function that creates this file should try
char* tmp = strmake("%s%s", prefix, suffix);
fd = open(tmp, O_CREAT | O_EXCL, 0600);
before mkstemps().[2]

There are quite a few bugs here.
1. 'Type 1' cutscene player fails silently, 'Type 2' crashes.
2. Text on inventory screen is drawn at a wrong position.
3. Game crashes due to gfx running out of vms shortly after exiting and
reentering first room.
3b. The modal error dialogs related to those crashes appear *under* the game
window.
(going by proton database, things at least somewhat worked somewhere in the
past, but that no longer the case)

Only few controls aren't rendered black
Warframe launcher window paints most of it's surface area black. Exception are
control located in the top right corner. It can still be interacted with,
cursor changes to hand pointer over the PLAY button and it does launch the game
(which works flawlessly in wayland mode otherwise)

Fallout2 engine based games (like Fallout Sonora) freezes for 1 — 2 seconds
every 10 or 15 minutes with Wine 6.0 rc6. Wine 5.5 works fine.
Fedora 32 with last updates, nvidia, alsa, secondary X-server.

When trying to start a chess engine (or perform any chess engine features),
nothing happens/hangs with an error: 018c:err:rundll32:wWinMain Unable to find
the entry point L"Engine32" in L"Engine32.dll"
When installing the original (via workaround) on Windows it was installed as 64
bit, as the installed dll mentions 32, perhaps this is something to do with the
problem.

On Wine 6.0, I could play / see the videos while playing Super Seducer 1 / 2
(didn't try the third episode), it's not longer the case with Wine 6.0.1 or

When you move your character around the game screen there are frequent pauses
both in the character and the mouse pointer movement. This makes the game
extremely choppy.
There is nothing obvious in the terminal output.
Reverting commit b712d6c8464681ca82f11cf49051401b874814c6
fixes the problem for me and movement, animation become smooth again.
Can be reproduced with Geneforge 4 demo version.
Start a new game from the main menu, get past the character generation and
intro screens. Move your character around the screen to observe the problem.

"So Blonde" European Retail DVD 1.01 version (English, French and German).
Point-and-click game developed by Wizarbox and released in 2008.
I couldn't find the game on either Steam or GOG. However, for those who want to
confirm the bug, the game is easily found in The Internet Archive Software
Collection.
OS:
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS 64bit.
Wine:
wine-9.3 development version (staging version is also affected).
Default Wine configuration, unmodified.
Clean Wine directory.
Description:
The loading times are very long: loading of the game menu, of a new game, of a
save game, between two screens (in the game), and so on.
Loadings last more than a minute, whereas on the same computer but running
Windows, they last less than five seconds.
This problem has been mentioned in AppDB since 2009 ("Every loading takes a
long time"), but has not been the subject of a bug report.
I don't know if this is relevant, but here's the +relay,+seh debug trace I
posted as part of another bug related to the same game (Bug 56390). It weighs
12.6 GB (59.7 MB after compression with rzip).

With Wine Mono:
The game can be launched as far as the menu screen, but it crashes at the start
of a new game, at the end of the loading screen. I assume this is related to
the video that should be playing at that point.
The game also crashes on closing.
With dotnet35sp1 installed via winetricks:
The game can be launched but there are several error messages ("Unhandled
exception in a component in your application") each time a video is played.
These errors can be ignored by clicking on "Continue". The sound of the video
is audible, but the video display is truncated. Ignoring these errors allows
you to play the game (no crashes).
