Version: 9.0-rc3
Hardware: x86-64

When installing €uro-Man, wine complains about MFC42.DLL not being present, but
fails to mention it can be installed by running this command:
winetricks -q mfc42
After running that command, €uro-Man works fine.
Is it an idea to alter the error message to something like this?
0024:err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by
L"Z:\\home\\jose\\wine-tmp\\Euro-Man\\euroman.exe") not found. Run winetricks
-q mfc42 to install it.
To reproduce:
Download €uro-Man: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/uro-man-ldh#download
$ rm -rf ~/wine-tmp/
$ mkdir ~/wine-tmp
$ export WINEPREFIX=~/wine-tmp
$ cd ~/wine-tmp
$ unzip ~/Downloads/uro-Man_Win_EN_Full-Rip.zip
$ cd Euro-Man/
$ wine euroman.exe now this error comes up in the console:
0024:err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by
L"Z:\\home\\jose\\wine-tmp\\Euro-Man\\euroman.exe") not found
winetricks -q mfc42
$ wine euroman.exe
press select (accept Direct3D HAL)
Now the game runs fine.

Summary: wine 9.0 winbox.exe and winbox64.exe runs but freezes

This is a regression, wine v8.xxx worked properly
when using the v3.17 - v3.40 of mikrotik's winbox.exe and winbox64.exe, wine
tends to freeze up and stop taking input. macos shows one or more
wine64-preloader (not responding) entries and those need to be killed before
the app is usable again. Launching 1 instance of winbox (either version)
spawns a number of wine64-preloader instances, often 8.
macos sonoma on M1 and M2 hardware shows this. Both of my machines were
upgraded to sonoma and ran wine v8.xx without issues, both of them show this
issue after the upgrade to wine v9.0
wine-devel installed via brew.
uninstalled and installed wine-stable via brew and get same behavior except I
think it's worse on wine-stable-9.0.

I'm trying to start an application compiled for Win (SCADA). Source is made at
Delphy (Object Pascal); former developers probably used WinAPI libraries so at
Win OS it starts and operates correctly.

The docs,
https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#Broken_NVIDIA_RandR_detected.2C_falling_back_to…,
say you have to add a line to xorg.conf file. I tried that and it changed the
randr error to a `<no_output>` error. VSTs and yabridge still don't work.
And the change added a non-existent 3rd screen to my computer. Plus we can't
hardcode monitors into files when we plug them into and out of our computer
frequently.
And we can't change from Nvidia proprietary driver to Nouveau because then 3D
programs like Blender and Steam won't work.
The documentation needs to give better solutions please.

The program python.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close
A pop-up comes up from wine and it says that python.exe has stopped working.
Also it says something about problem in the program or deficiency in wine. I
have checked that my wine is up to date. I also have downloaded it multiple
times but still same error occurred.
