It seems be60f77909f [1] is the return of the bug 57577, with anything so far I
have tried, including the Wine notepad, reducing in vertical size by 4 pixels
when restored.
Only tested with KWin-X11 so far.
Thank you!

This might be invalid/a KWin-X11 issue, but so far it seems that after
8094acfbfdd [1], applications running via Wine sometimes "confuse" the window
manager with regards to what is the currently active window.
So far I can not re-produce the bad state at will, but it feels like it happens
quite often, starting with the mentioned commit, which looks like it might(?)
indeed have something to do with this.
What sometimes happens is, I have 1 game window in "full screen windowed" mode
in one monitor, and usually a second instance in a smaller window in another
monitor, though they may be in the same monitor sometimes too.
I then alt-tab to, for example, the Konsole terminal emulator, but the game
window stays visible, and any input goes into Konsole; even though it is not
visible, it is the active window.
I can then alt-tab more, and the bad state remains until I do... something...
possibly switch the active window using the mouse, or alt-tab through more
different windows. I haven't yet quite figured out what restores the state.
I don't think I updated KWin or anything else before this started happening,
and I spent quite a while with bisecting this, but as it is someawhats
random-like still, I can't say anything for sure yet.
Does the mentioned commit look like it could be related to this?
Thank you!

terminal output while running the game
The game starts up fine and all menus work, including audio, however, once the
gameplay portion of the game starts, the game only renders the HUD and a bright
green screen. The game works, audio plays, inputs are recognized, AI works (the
player is being attacked), only that no graphics ever show up. Tested so far
with both Wine 3.13, 3.14, and 3.14-staging. Not sure what output would be
helpful in this case, so I at least attached the terminal output.

Summary: Configure (build) fails since commit db2e157, if

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical

Build of wine 10.17 fails on Rocky Linux 9.6 (autoconf-2.69-39.el9.noarch), if
autoreconf needs to be applied (as wine-staging build for instance).
After autoreconf, configure fails with:
configure: error: cannot find install-sh, install.sh, or shtool in "." "./.."
"./../.."
Previous versions were built fine, as well as 10.17 without autoreconf, or wine
10.17 with commit db2e157
(https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/db2e157c68d5b1ced965e2ac90ecb9…)
reverted.
It may be autoconf issue in fact (related to this:
https://www.mail-archive.com/autoconf-patches@gnu.org/msg06599.html ?), but as
RHEL 9 is not the only major distribution still shipped with autoconf 2.69 (I
guess), this should probably be considered?
