Wine needs to be killed and restarted to continue. In the bug list, I saw the same errors associated with: reminder 99 lotus notes ...by other users. Wine build 20021007 from the SuSE 8.1 pre-compiled .rpm file linked to from winhq.com. My O/S is clean install of SuSE 8.1. When running wineserver in persistent mode (wineserver -p), you need to explicitly kill it, otherwise it will keep the current session and NOT reread the config file. If you aren't using persistent mode, then it's most likely some leftover wine session that keeps wineserver running. Hmm, I wonder whether maybe the docu isn't verbose enough on this one ?
