Hello, When I updated my Ubuntu, then HeidiSql stopped opening. I noticed that Wine changed to version 9.20. The version I had previously installed was Wine 9.0 which worked well. I hope you can check and resolve the issue in the next version. Thanks Omare Pereiras

Just run the heidisql.exe, and click the "New" button.
The regression first got introduced in wine-9.19, bisected to be a dupe of bug 57306. Maybe that is the same crash OP has?

I use this version 7.0 because it is already built into the software I use for work.
I installed Heidisql version 12.8.0, but the problem remains.
In my case, when I press "NEW", no message with errors appears, the application simply does not open. Thanks
