Run MainProc.exe and choose Help, About, which will run the other process (make sure to run MainProc.exe from the directory it's in). Both windows should display the commandline they were started with. In Windows, you should see one window display MainProc.exe and the other display SubProc.exe. With Wine, the first window will display MainProc.exe and the other won't display anything. If you run SubProc.exe by itself, in either Wine or Windows, the command line is displayed correctly. -Steve

Hi, After thinking for a very long time, I finally started to hack on Wine. But after two days I already have my doubts that stop me from continuing and I hope someone can help me. I decided that IDirect3DDevice8Impl_SetRenderState has so many different arguments that there should be one for me. Use ActiveTexture!"); break; I think if the program just uses one Texture this should work, but I have some doubts: OpenGL has different TextureModes (1D, 2D, 3D) and WRAP is set independently for each of these. In Windows this setting changes all modes at one or not? What is the last texture coordinate doing in Windows? I have heard of 3D-Textures, but 4D? Does not-wrapping correspond to GL_CLAMP under OpenGL? I would be happy if you answer my questions. I guess I can look it up somewhere, but reading through the specification takes so much time :-( And do you think the code above works? I'm new to wine and I would be happy for any clue. I'm not sure how complete this new listview code is supposed to be, but I've noticed the more recent commits seem to just be code reorg and cleanups as opposed to functionality stuff, so I might as well say it... I've noticed a lot of regression problems since these patches started coming in.. for the last few days Listviews have been pretty much totally broken in most of the applications I frequently run under WINE - expecially IDA Pro (the Windows GUI version), which exibits at least two problems... the Names window doesn't show the description column text, and neither the Names or Strings window listboxes are clickable.. usually you'd double-click to jump to a position, but that is no longer working. Linstview regression, big time

Since the work on the listview rewrite has started, the listview has regressed big time. Running Delorme's AAA MapNGo V4.0, the "Along the way" window HAS-A listview into which are inserted the items found. This used to work in the old code, but now nothing is shown. I know the items themselves are being inserted. What can I do to help on this? Would posting a debug message dump showing the list items being inserted be of use? I'm not a Windows programmer, so I don't know how quickly I could actually come up to speed on the code itself, but I am quite willing to try code out and report on the success or failure of it.

internet explorer install fixed in 1007, how?

Hello all. I've been doing some testing of the recent releases, 0904 and 1007, and I've found that in 0904, quicken installs, but IE does not. Unfortunately, in 1007, IE installs but quicken does not. Does anyone know what patch fixed internet explorer for 1007? Lotus Dominno Administrator console under Wine

Hello I use Lotus Domino Administrator under wine. When I try to see the console of a server, almost everything except numbers in the console appear as "???" so I can read nothing. Has anyone got the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve it? I really dont want to use the program under Windows. NtQueryValueKey failed with "wine client error:8075690: sendmsg: Bad file descriptor"

Hello, i am trying to install the german phonebook "Das Telefonbuch Für Deutschland Frühjahr 2001" on wine20021007. The installation stops with the error from the subject (see the attached trace with --debugmsg +relay,+loaddll,+ntdll,+reg,+file). But when i add +msg to the debug switches i get across this point. With +msg the trace stops with "wine client error:831db08: sendmsg: Socket operation on non-socket" inside CreateThread. Does someone know what is wrong? Thanks for help Stefan
