Dropped wildcards patch

Hi Alexandre, Just wondering whether there was a reason that the patch at http://www.winehq.org/hypermail/wine-patches/2003/11/0339.html was not commited. My understanding of the ensuing debate was that it was acceptable. SystemParametersInfoA very slow

Hi, as I'm quite new to this project, I thought I'd check before starting to do stuff to avoid duplication/stepping on peoples toes. Initially, I've been trying to get Datarescue IDA working... the actual application works fine, but certain operations take a long time to complete (e.g. the open file dialogue takes 20 seconds to appear on my 2GHz machine). Some tracing shows the problem is SystemParametersInfoA... IDA calls this thousands of times when doing certain things, and as the current implementation is a bit slow, it really adds up. I hacked a quick test into to cache a couple of the parameters it accesses, which really helped the problem. Is anyone else working on this area right now? If not, I'll get going on doing something properly.

Well if that call fails on Wine+Linux but succeeds on Windows I don't call that correct, even if is not technically Wine that is wrong. Point is that there is no other place then inside Wine to put this message. ( Compare this to a recent discussion on the gethostbyname(NULL) behavior on wine-dev, which goes even further..) I put this in, for a banking program that uses a FTP protocol on a pair of non standard ports. AFAIK the program is not used anymore, so I don't care the message going away. Just rebuilt using 2.95 by changing the symlink /usr/bin/gcc to point to /usr/bin/gcc-2.95 and it still doesn't appear to be working. Did: make clean ./configure&&make depend&&make make install This enough to ensure that everything rebuilt? It looked like it. Running debian unstable here. Chris

Unhandled exception c06d007f ?

Hi, Running windows xp regedit.exe raises an unhandled exception : c06d007f. To reproduce it, copy : aclui.dll (generates the exception) authz.dll clb.dll regedit.exe :) ulib.dll Then run regedit and click on Edit, Authorizations. A google search shows that c06d007f is 'DelayLoad Export Missing', according to bugtoaster. Supported Applications List - Screenshots

Looking at Shachar Schemech's slides, I see that all the screenshots of the supported applications gold list are in todo state. I can install the apps & provide these. What should be the characteristics of such a screenshot to be accepted on the website ? Linking on the mingw build

Hello, When linking quite a few dll on the mingw build I am getting the following error: vapi32 -lkernel32 -lntdll -L../../libs/wine -lwine -L../../libs/unicode -lwine_unicode -L../../libs/port -lwine_port -lm ../../libs/port/libwine_port.a(sigsetjmp.o.b)(.text+0x10): In function `sigsetjmp': e:/source/winehq/wine/libs/port/sigsetjmp.c:28: undefined reference to `_setjmp' ../../libs/port/libwine_port.a(sigsetjmp.o.b)(.text+0x30): In function `siglongjmp': e:/source/winehq/wine/libs/port/sigsetjmp.c:33: undefined reference to `longjmp' C:\mingw\bin\dllwrap.exe: C:\mingw\bin\gcc exited with status 1 make: *** [user32.dll] Error 1 A simple work around for me is to use the Mingw msvcrt import lib and link all of the dlls to it but I know this is not going to be the solution to get merged in to WINE.
