Bugzilla voting

Just had a quick question about the voting process on Bugzilla, hope Jeremy sees this and can answer it. It seems that when a bug is voted for by 1 person, it does not become confirmed like it used to, it now takes 2 votes. This seems a little unnecessary, as 1 vote would mean that 2 people are experiencing the same problem (the reporter and the person casting the vote), in which case it is most likely a bug, and not some mis-configuration. If we are worried that a bug reporter might exploit this and confirm his own bugs by using the voting system, we could always set it up to disallow votes from the reporter, couldn't we? Just my thoughts. Hoping you will see my point and lower the "number of votes to confirm" value by 1.. Dustin

Mouse warp questions

Hello, I have a a question about the mouse warp code in dlls/dinput/mouse.c Why is MOUSE_HACK still defined? From reading the archives I concluded that warping the mouse in three states was disabled long ago(1), but MOUSE_HACK is still defined. I found a patch sent to wine-patches in 2003 which commented this define line(2). My problem is that this MOUSE_HACK breaks the mouse in Settlers 3, bug 2475 (3). Is there any reason why the mouse hack is still/again activated? DirectX 9 patches

Hi, I've put an updated patch and some new screeshost on sourceforge for the time being http://directxwine.sourceforge.net/, I'm now at the point where I'm happy to stop fixing bugs in DirectX 9 and start sending in more patches.. DirectX 9 Patch

Hey everyone, I was recently messing around with Oliver's new patch and it took me a while to figure out how to apply it. So, in case anyone else is like me and doesn't want to ask, the command that I used to patch wine-20050419 from within the wine directory was: patch -p2 < (path_to_patch)/d3d9patch.2005-04-28-2.diff I hope that this will help someone. I know that most people on here already know how to use the patch utility, but I did not. --Tim

Can someone take a look at http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1536 and help out the author? He has posted a WINEDEBUG=+key,+keyboard log to the bug and I am unable to determine the problem. There are a few other bugs referenced near the bottom with similar (but not the same) problems which need looking at as well. Thanks. Dustin

Make test fails on pristine CVS checkout

Hi, Following the discussion in Wineconf, I'm forwarding test failures to the list. Methodology - Debian SID. I did "apt-get build-dep wine" (install most wine dependencies), and checked out a pristine CVS. ./configure (no parameters), make depend, make.
