Menubar problems with OpenGL program

Hi, I have a problem with the menubar in an OpenGL program I use, WeatherScope. With Wine-20050211 and newer, the menubar is overdrawn by the OpenGL background color. I can still get the pop up menus to appear if I click the area where the menu should be. Also, if I switch focus to a different app, like an Xterm, the menubar will appear. It appears that clipping is correct, because the OpenGL drawing in the program does not appear where the menubar should be, only the background color. This problem does not appear in wine versions before 20050211. Anyone have any clues where to go with this? Benchmarking Wine againt XP

Hello, Over the last couple weeks Ive been on a little benchmark craze and now that I'm done I thought I would share my results. All the benchmarks were run on my duel boot laptop under the same resolutions and I tried to choose the same settings in the test apps as well to keep everything as fair as possible. ------------------------- I sent the results twice but our MODERATOR bounces the results! So if anyone is interested in this let me know or take it up with the MODERATOR! ------------------------- Testing Software PCMark-04 : http://www.futuremark.com/download/?pcmark04.shtml 3DMark 2001SE : http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/testing/video.htm 3DMark 2000 v1.1 : http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/testing/video.htm DronezMark : http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/testing/video.htm GL Excess 1.2 : http://www.glexcess.com/files.htm UT2004 demo 3334 : http://www.3dgamers.com/games/unrealtourn2k4/downloads/ Umark : http://unrealmark.net/ Performance Test : http://www.passmark.com/ftp/petst.exe Quake 3 : http://www.3dgamers.com/games/quake3arena/downloads/ Notes: PCMark04 : Requirement's include IE6, WMP9, WMP Encoder and DX9 So if a test other than graphics has a N/A it is because I don't have the required software currently installed that being IE6 or WMP/Encoder. Performance Test : The medium and High detail 3D test will work if there run as a single test. After the low detail test is run a error saying that no 3D accelerator could be found and the test is aborted. (Wine bug) 3DMark2001SE : The nature scene will play in the demo but not in the test. I also had to disable the sprite test or 3DMark2001SE crashes. 3DMark 2000 v1.1 : XP is "My Project" and Wine is My Project 1" UT2004/Quake were mostly just for fun, I need to install the native Linux clients and see just how close Wine is to native game play..... System Specs: Gentoo current, 3.8GHZ CPU, 1GB RAM, 60Gig 7200rpm HD, 256MB Gforce 6800 Go video. Notice: Before you put any merritt into any of my results I would highly recommend that you run the benchmark software yourself. MSN Webcam patch

I am stuck on it, it seems that if I enable WINEDEBUG=+quartz it crashes THEORETICALLY, although wrong, this should be ok, since it doesn't disrupt anything BUT I asked others to test my patch, and unfortunately THEY weren't that lucky, it crashed, wether winedebug was enabled or not... so what I'm asking is, perhaps someone can find out what's wrong? I attached 4 files capturegraph.patch - implements icapturegraphbuilder (stubbed) quartzfix.patch - several fixes for quartz v4l.patch - implements the vfwcapture interface capture.c - in case you don't have a working v4l(2) device, i provided a version that doesn't actually do anything, while still invoking the crash just make sure you do 'regsvr32 quartz.dll' (with quartz = builtin) also devenum has to be builtin to invoke the crash: install msn messenger (you need internet explorer installed too) run msnmsgr with WINEDEBUG=+quartz,+qcap Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this, and if this doesn't get fixed, it doesn't seem worth the effort to continue working on msn webcams :/ perhaps your shared minds at wineconf will be able to fix it, or those who stay at home ;) From what I can tell, the crash occurs in OutputPin_ConnectSpecific (wine/dlls/quartz/pin.c), exact line: hr = IPin_ReceiveConnection(pReceivePin, iface, pmt); I think pReceivePin is a pin provided by MSN messenger itself, so if it is a crash caused by differences between the quartz msn expects, and our implementation of quartz it will help to resolve cross-quartz differences (well that's the theory anyway :P) if this can't be fixed, I'll try to port this interface to qcap, where it should belong, but it it's not there because a lot of things from quartz is used.. which means i have to do a lot double...

Resizing an image?

I'm trying to resize a raw image (only rgb values) and flipping it vertically i got 2 pointers, and the size they are both rgb24 I wanted to do this with stretchdibits, but it requires a device context, and I am not sure that if i create one with createcompatibledc, it will be 24 bits.. so my question is how can i resize a raw dib image, where input = pointer1 and output = pointer2? preferably tilting it too
