Changed C99 style comment to c style. Removed an unnecessary TRACE used for testing of code. The actual patch that brings in the EM_FORMATRANGE function. Tested with programs reported to have problems in Bug 6254. James McKenzie

CentOS or Fedora on CD Media

All: My Linux test system (an older Thinkpad) cannot accept DVD media so I'm looking for Fedora 12 or CentOS 5.4 on CD media. Can someone help me look for this or a program that will run on a MAC that will break down the DVD iso images to CD-Rom media. This is so that I can test the EM_FORMATRANGE patch for conformance issues. Thank you. James McKenzie

Hi all, I'm new to the list. I'm a Wine enthusiast: I have installed it on my machine (with Ubuntu 9.10) Thursday 18 February and I already love it. I'd like to give some contributes to the project. I have a degree in Computer Science Engineering taken at University of Salento in Italy and I know C and C++ programming languages (I have worked with them). As first contribute I am thinking to do translation of Wine into my native language (italian), beginning from the site. I have read all the documents available on the official site regarding this subject. Is there something else to know to do a translation? Thank in advance Francesco Argese

File Handle from FileReferenceNumber

Compiler Defaults

Is the Wine compile option to treat warnings as errors a Wine default or is it some type of system configuration option? Since the last couple of releases have quite a few of these, I am suspecting something is broken on my system.

I am just wondering is there any possibilities to use *SDL* as a *WINE DirectDraw* wrapper. >From my experience, *SDL* is not such a bad 2D graphics library and very easy to use and implement and has many flexible functions.
