Kernel32 segfaults on compile

Hello Everybody.. Debugger looping busy

Hi, Using some programs with wine (last CVS), the debugger enters a loop and cannot be stopped other way than a kill on it. Additional warnings (-W) revisited

Hello, a year or more ago I started an attempt to turn on additional warnings with gccs -W switch. The amount of additional warnings created made any warnings useless (the current count is >2700). I've just thought about the problem again and come up with a divide and conquer approach: Why not turn -W on and disable the additional warnings on a per directory basis? The idea is to turn on the additional warnings and then disable them on a per directory/type basis by putting a file into each directory turning off one or both of the additional warnings that occur very often (signed/unsigned comparisons and unused parameters/variables). If both warnings should be shown in a directory, the file may be removed. I've attached an example patch and the initial look of the .nowarn file. I just changed a dependency of some task list bug and a message was sent to the wine bugs list for each entry in the task list. fixme:win32:PeekNamedPipe

First of all I want to thank the community for the efforts spent in developing wine. It's simple a cool "tool" (sorry, it's more, I know). Now my problem: I installed wine-20020411 without having a native windows installation. I installed successfully a simulator software which obviously uses a tcl/tk-GUI to invoke other program moduls (compiler, library manager, simulator core) re-directing their stdin/stdout to the console window via pipes. It does not work for me and I get the message (infinitivly repeated): fixme:win32:PeekNamedPipe (00000080, (nil), 00000000, (nil), 0x406a2194, (nil)): stub Searchin the web I got no hit. Questions: (1) Can I avoid this by using a native windows-dll? If yes, which dll I have to install (but I assume it is a kernel-dll function and so it is not possible)? (2) I have no Windows programming background, but what do you think: Should I dare to implement this function or was it left open because of a tricky windows-API-Linux mapping problem? I had a problem using the wine installer script from wine-20020411.
