Hi,
Has any progress been done wrt remote access (webcast thread earlier on)? I wouldnt mind having something to test to confirm I can get it going.
You also mentioned that IRC would be used to interact, I assume that will be the #wineconf channel? (I've never used IRC so that alone will be an experience!).
Jason
Could you try the following:
http://www.winehq.org/wineconf/stream.html
and tell me how it goes? I can play the rtsp:// link manually in the Quicktime player with a very modern version of Wine, and a hacked version of cxplugin plays it as well.
I got it to work with mplayer once as well, although it didn't work just now when I tried it.
Thanks,
Jer

Only my windows box has web access at the moment (due to a hardware failure!), so I installed the latest quicktime, and can see a short clip but I get no audio - Is that what was expected?

Argh!
I don't know what's going on; a build I have from ~ 2 weeks ago works fine (with sound), but the current cvs tip doesn't work.
And I've got to go out of town for the next day and half, so I don't have time to do the binary search necessary to find out what broke Wine (it should work anytime after Alexandre reverted the winsock REUSEADDR wrongness).
