I'm wondering if someone would be willing to help out with name tags for FOSDEM. The Wine project can pay the costs.
I'm thinking of just buying cheap name tag holders, and pre-printing (with a nice logo, of course) name tags for people we know will be there. And then having blank ones (with the nice logo, of course) for guests to our devroom.
Any takers?
Cheers,
Jeremy

I see no one took it, anyone interesting in a Made-in-China name tag? <evil grin>
What kinds of name tag do you prefer?
A: a name tag which is supposed to put on the desk: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=17213368156&ali_refid=a3_420434_1006:...
B: a name tag which is supposed to tie on someone's neck, hanging in front of chest: http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1.w4004-2629854155.8.I96sf0&i...
Either of them is about 2CNY to 3CNY per tag.

I think this kind, although we could also just use ones with clips: http://www.lanyardstore.com/id-card-badgeholders.html
Interesting that it's not that much cheaper to buy them in China :-/.
So now I apparently have two volunteers, which is one more than I need.
One of you want to take responsibility for getting the lanyards themselves, and one of you want to do the 'printing' portion? (e.g. printing known attendees, and having some blank ones available as well?).
Cheers,
Jeremy

My visa application to Europe is still pending, I'm not going to take it at this time, I appreciate if anyone else take it, thanks!
Merry Christmas :)
I am doing the name tags!
Things are in process, but if you want a custom printed name tag just for you i need you to e-mail me back.
e-mail me directly and tell me what name you want on your tag.
e-mails are due by Wednesday Jan 22nd.
Responses after than may make it, may not. There will be blank tags and a pen for anyone who does not get back to me.

"Gediminas Jakutis"
And in case a custom caption line is available, I'd like: "Practically a tourist"
P.S. I am only going to be on Sunday. Hope that won't be a problem with getting a name tag.
