Hi folks,
WineConf 2016 will be held on November 12th and 13th in St. Paul, MN. I've put up all of the details here: https://wiki.winehq.org/WineConf2016
Everyone is welcome at WineConf, please feel free to come. If you need help with travel expenses, please write to ask to ask for help; we are generally able to help, particularly for contributors to Wine (directions are in the Wiki).
If you're interested in WineConf, you should sign up for the wineconf mailing list: https://www.winehq.org/mailman/listinfo/wineconf
I've put the only two agenda items that matter to me on the Wiki: the keynote and fixing the tests. Feel free to suggest other topics or agenda items using the wineconf mailing list.
I look forward to seeing you all there!
Cheers,
Jeremy

Looking forward to it! I've booked my tickets, my flight arrives at about noon on Friday and I'll fly out at about 5 on Monday. Any ideas on what to do in St. Paul with the extra time?

There are a few things I really think we should discuss:
- How well the Signed-off-by system is working - How well the stable branch is working - How well the staging branch is working
Some other fun things to discuss:
- CrossOver on Chromebooks! - All the recent HID work - The state of DirectX in Wine - Whether to call the next version "Wine 2.0", "Wine 2", or "Wine 1.10" - hopefully we will all still be friends after this discussion ;-)
And I will make sure to be in the group picture this time.

Nah, gotta make a new version up, or better yet, get rid of it. Wine Unlimited!

I am happy to put together a HID/PNP status update. If there is interest, add me to the schedule.

AJ already mentioned that it'll be 2.0, I guess that makes it set :) Further I think 2.0 is totally fine.

Correct, there will be a 2.0 but the numbering scheme following that is up for discussion.

In November? Uhh, stay inside and drink.
Speaking of which, reminder to non-Americans: Americans have really funny rules about serving alcohol. If you want to have a drink, be sure to bring some form of photo identification that includes your birth date to the bar, or you may not be served.
(Really though, the Twin Cities have a pretty good stand-up comedy and theatre scene. We've also got loads of restaurants ranging from very good to award winning. There's a science museum a little ways from the hotel. Grand Ave near Dale St has lots of cool little shops. And the light rail gives easy access from St Paul to Minneapolis, the Mall of America, and everything in between.)
