[Bug 28318] New: Baldur's Gate 2 Big World Project has severe graphical corruption in wine.
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Sept. 8, 2011

Sept. 8, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28318 Summary: Baldur's Gate 2 Big World Project has severe graphical corruption in wine. Product: Wine Version: 1.3.27 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: i30817(a)gmail.com I'm unsure this bug is a real bug, since i no longer have a windows install that will run BG2. In short, i installed the BWP (a collection of mods - some of which edit the exe and data files) in a windows virtual machine - this machine can't run the game though. Anyway, tried it in wine, and it leads to severe graphical corruptions - it seems that previous paintings are not perfectly painted over, so you still see menus under the characters when you enter the game world itself, there are weird green artifacts etc. I understand that this could have any number of causes, i just wanted to leave a record of this in case someone has it too. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28279 Summary: [Regression] Mass Effect: unimplemented function msvcp80.dll.?begin@?$basic_string(a)_WU?$char_traits(a)_W@ std@@V?$allocator(a)_W@2@@std@@QAE?AV?$_String_iterator@ _WU?$char_traits(a)_W@std@@V?$allocator(a)_W@2@@2(a)XZ, aborting Product: Wine Version: 1.3.27 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: msvcp AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: debian(a)carbon-project.org Created an attachment (id=36229) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=36229) Wine's output to the terminal (no special debugging channels), Wine 1.3.27 I just wanted to play Mass Effect again, but since at least 1.3.27 the game crashes after the videos of the studio/publisher logos with: > wine: Call from 0x7ee0b649 to unimplemented function msvcp80.dll.?begin@?$basic_string(a)_WU?$char_traits(a)_W@std@@V?$allocator(a)_W@2@@std@@QAE?AV?$_String_iterator(a)_WU?$char_traits(a)_W@std@@V?$allocator(a)_W@2@@2(a)XZ, aborting This is certainly a regression, even though I didn't have time to to a bisecting run yet, as I have played ME on this system already. I'm not sure which version I used, but I'd guess it was 1.3.25. As there are reports of playing ME with 1.3.26 in the AppDB I'd guess, that the regression was introduced between 1.3.26 and 1.3.27. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 7066] comctl32 monthcal does not display multiple calendar months
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Sept. 7, 2011

Sept. 7, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7066 --- Comment #11 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> 2011-09-07 09:12:03 CDT --- (In reply to comment #10) > Created an attachment (id=36185) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=36185) [details] > Compiled test > > I have compiled the program from comment #3 and tested in 1.3.27, the problem > remains. Wine displays only one calendar as seen on attachment from comment #1. That's expected and known problem. I'm still working on it from time to time, just sent another preparation patch for it. Will also send some drawing optimisations too, and after that will test calendars placement changes and we'll see what's broken about it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
