OpenGL mode works fine both in fullscreen and windowed mode. DirectX mode works only in fullscreen mode. In DirectX windowed mode the game shows only an empty/black window (while sound is playing and apparently the menu is available because mouse clicks do work but you cant see anything). To reproduce the problem in the demo: After installation start the demo like that: wine Wildhollow.exe -d -w Other command line parameters: -f fullscreen mode -w windowed mode -g use OpenGL -d use DirectX The same problem with Wine-1.0.1, 1.2.3 and so on. The version of Morrowind I'm using is 1.6.1820 (Bloodmoon). My OS is Kubuntu 11.04 with KDE 4.7.0. I've downloaded the DirectX 7.0a SDK and I've started "ddcaps.exe" from it once on WinXP and once on wine 1.3.27. Indeed, I've found an entry where "3D" was set on WinXP but not on wine. So, tweaking some caps could help. This bug is fixed. At first I thought the game should resume music when it gets focused again but that's not true, the music restarts playing randomly while the games play, specially when an event happens. I thought it was related to focus but know I noticed it was due to an in game event that the music resumed playing...
