I'm running gentoo with various wine-versions. to install dns12 I had first to install dotnet. Font Associated DefaultFonts and EUDC Font Association (refer to #Comment 107 for Sagawa's great description) is not implemented yet, do someone know any real world app affected by them? If there is could somebody file new bug(s) for them, so we can resolve this bug as fixed? I think it make sense to close this 4 years bug, and let other font rendering issues be tracked in separate threads, this make things more clearly.
