Given the content of the web page vs. the URL itself, it seems that it used to have Wine-related content (not from the Wine project but from the developer of that Windows software) but the developer felt the need to change it to a political message. I googled for "q4wine" since that's mentioned in the URL. That lead to http://sourceforge.net/projects/q4wine/ which seems like a legitimate project for use with Wine. If you follow the "q4wine Web Site" link in the Description, you are taken to http://q4wine.brezblock.org.ua/ which shows that same political message (since it's the same host as the original suspect URL). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I am playing (and can login) fine with the Patch and wine 1.7.11+59, starcraft II starter edition. Started using the old launcher (I don't use the BN-App yet to start Starcraft. Did you start Starcraft the same way, when trying with and without patch? (both without BN-App, or both with (meaning you'd have to use dbghelp (disable) when not using the patch)). When both were installed and the system re-installed from the same DVD, I again installed wine 1.6.1 (including qtwine version 1.0 and again attempted to install the same program. It failed with two results, an error window displaying: "The program winevdm.exe encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." but more surprisingly, the browser came up with this url. http://q4wine.brezblock.org.ua/documentation/q4wine_en_gb/05-first-steps.ht… This is a political message.
