Hello everyone, I am the AppDB maintainer of "Capitalism 2" a business strategy game which has some issues I would like to point out. The initial issue during tests some releases ago was that mouse control wasn't working but a staged patch could be applied which fixed the issue and got integrated into main wine. https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/dinput Unfortunately a new issue has sprung up in the game which is that when I move the mouse it has some redrawing issues and paints the background. Please note that this is NOT Corel Draw X3. I installed in a clean wineprefix and set winecfg to Windows 3.1 (which is recommended on the CD). Unfortunately the installer (setup.exe) doesn't start up and gives a fatal error. I have included the register dump and the Terminal listing as attachments. I have tried to install Wine many times and it always fails at this point. I installed Wine as follows: sudo apt remove wine* && sudo apt autoremove sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wine/wine-builds sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-devel When I tired to install Bicycle Bridge (setup.exe) I got windows saying to install "mono" and "gecko". I clicked the install button in each of these windows. After the failed install, Bicycle Bridge ran fine until my wife won a game. Then it froze and had to be xkilled. This is repeatable. Wine winhlp32 does not support that feature. For example, download the Age of Empires trial version from http://www.microsoft.com/games/empires/downloads.htm direct download URL is http://download.microsoft.com/download/aoe/Trial/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/MSAoE.exe Either run MSAoE.exe to install the demo, or use cabextract to unpack the files inside. Run winhlp32.exe from Windows under Wine and load Empires.hlp. Notice the window has no menu strip and cannot be resized. (I tested winhlp32.exe from Windows 98 and XP.)
