Actually, it is not a real Wine bug either, but a configuration problem. The memory allocation is implemented in Wine, but your kernel denies allocating memory in this area. For security reasons, recent kernels define a minimum memory address for allocations. The limit can be changed through /proc/sys/vm/mmap_min_addr. When setting the value to zero, the error message should go away.
