Sorry. I for botching the second sentence. For clarify: I tried running DisableGstByteStreamHandler for Signifier video but it still seems to use gstreamer regardless. DisableGstByteStreamHandler may only apply for mfsrcsnk which Signifier seems to not use for videos. Therefore part of my effort for testing Haven related video bugs is to diff Gstreamer vs DisableGstByteStreamHandler which may requiring supporting DisableGstByteStreamHandler for wider cases such as however Signifier handles videos. As for your performance issues, I'll try to reproduce for Silksong on Linux. Otherwise it may be MacOS specific.
