Additionally, Alt+function keys get intercepted by the window manager instead of
FAR (which is a pity because Alt-F1 and Alt-F2 are the change drive keys), not
sure winconsole can do anything about this though...

Summary: mouse problem in wineconsole
Product: Wine
Version: 20050211
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-console
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: avarga(a)freemail.hu
I'm trying to use FAR Manager in SUSE 9.3 stock Wine, with wineconsole
--backend=user Far.exe. There are two issues with the mouse:
1. double-click doesn't work. Interestingly, a single click works OK.
2. mouse wheel scrolls down in both direction, one can't scroll up

Summary: wineconsole width/height settings not handled properly

I'm trying to use FAR Manager in SUSE 9.3 stock Wine, with wineconsole
--backend=user Far.exe. The default window size (80x25) is very small; while
trying to make it 30 lines high via the Properties->Configuration page, I found
the following problems:
1. only Buffer Zone/Height seems to be settable, the other three stay at 80 or
25 (when I open the dialog again, it shows the old values). None of the four
settings seem to get saved into the registry
2. with buffer height=30 and window height=25, scrolling the window (using the
scrollbar) and turning FAR's panels on/off (ctrl-O)produces funny effects, e.g.
a dead copy of FAR's screen at the bottom of the window, while FAR operates at
the top of the window.

I'm running FAR Manager in SUSE 9.3 stock Wine, with
wineconsole --backend=user Far.exe
Every time I try to minimize the console window, it immediately jumps back to
its original position. Funny...

"3.10. Dealing with Fonts"
The following config entries described there must be old, Wine refused them:
AliasN = [Windows font], [X font] <, optional "mask X font" flag>
Resolution = <integer value>
"3.5.5. File system settings in the [wine] section"
Only mentions "Windows" = "c:\\windows" and "ShowDirSymlinks" = "1", at least
"Profile" is missing
BTW: the manual (at least the on-line HTML version) doesn't say for which Wine
version it was written.

Aha, it seems the problem was simply that I was using an older version of wine.
By updating my copy of wine and switching my driver to OSS, my problems went
away. Thank you, and sorry for the trouble.

I can't reproduce that bug (using current CVS) - seems to work just fine.
