------- Additional Comments From I-SAngeli(a)siriush.com 2005-29-09 13:52 -------
Sorry Rein but my linux skills are not so great.
First I run this command:
grep -B1000 'Unhandled exception' sourcew_file_name.txt | tee
output_file_name.txt | less
Now, this creates a huge file. So, I have to scrink it as you adviced to with
this command kind of:
dd if=wine.log of=partwine.log bs=1000000 skip=70
Can you please enlighen me and suggest the complete 1 line sentence command
line? Otherwhise, I will be stuck forever.
I appreciate your understanding.
thank you,
Spiro

Minimal VisualBasic app, lacks min/max buttons
The lack of minimize/maximize buttons in managed mode also affects all MS
VisualBasic 6 applications. This is a minimal app that shows the bug. It should
have the min/max buttons in its decorations, but doesn't, and also does not
appear in the GNOME taskbar.

Can you give us a small test case that shows the problem?
Source code would be great if possible.

By definition, a system lockup is not a bug in wine,
it's a bug in your OS.
Take it to their bug tracking system or support forum, please.

Unfortunately the installer appears to be broken too, due to stubs in advpack.dll

You can get old versions from http://www.mozilla.org/releases/
Yes, the bug seems to be fixed. The only visual glitches are the bitmaps that
are rendered the wrong colour. But that seems to be bug 3171
