How can I detect Wine? You really shouldn't want to do this. If there's a quirk in Wine you need to work around, it's much better to fix it in Wine. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3157 ------- Additional Comments From kelfe(a)gmx.de 2005-24-09 09:33 ------- - current wine cvs screen in 24bpp mode results in a strange loop after a python key error in the screen mode detection - current wine cvs screen in 16bpp mode displays a broken error window (logserver shows an error about sound channels) after adding "audio=0\r" into the cache/prefs.ini file the startup stops in the screen mode section "Valid windowed Formats []" - the d3d9patch.2005-06-13.diff with the cvs version from that day displays the login screen (with still disabled audio) but the cursor is not displayed over the game window (the logserver shows that the cursor*.dds files change) so it's very hard to use a gui. Also the keyboard input is landing in the terminal window that I used to start the eve.exe.
