Seems you are skipping too much things now. The problems with {MSSansSerif8} is
fixed, but it brought more visual glitches in the installer, you can compare the
old screenshot with the new ones I will post.

Works fine here with a sample help file. Is it just that one file it fails
with or many (any example ones I can try here with?)
You may want to paste the page fault info in here too

it;s legal i guess if you own a windows license. Btw, another patch came in,
that could likely fix this problem, so just try again in a few days.

If i'm not mistaken this is already fix in current cvs. Could you try if current
cvs compiles fine for you?

i think the problem is that there's now a new, almost completely empty, builtin
usp10.dll. this wasn't present in the 20050725 version, so i would guess that
that wine version just used native usp10.dll which you probably will have laying
around somewhere. So i would just try WINEDLLOVERRIDES="usp10=n" wine lotus.exe
see if this solves the problem for now as a kind of work around

I get the following if I attempt to run nlnotes.exe from winedbg directly. Any
attempt to continue further adds another __wine_spec_file_name+0x0 to the stack.

Summary: Lotus Notes fails to start on recent WINE 20050830
release
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: thaynes(a)sympatico.ca
Lotus Notes 6.5.3 ran reasonably (missing cursors occassionally) on 20050725
with a few instabilities. Upgrading to 20050830 results in the NSD daemon in
Lotus Notes jumping up immediately and saving a service crash file for Notes
technical support.
Looking at the log entries, I can see the following in the last few lines. I
have no idea why winedbg isn't running at the end - typing "winedbg" at the
command line brings it up fine.
