http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3358 Summary: application fails to start because of SSHDRV82.sys (probably) Product: Wine Version: CVS Platform: PC URL: http://www.braingame.de/produkte/produkt_g4_23.html OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-files AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: kilgus(a)fuenfsieben.de The application (have a look at URL if you like) - unfortunately I don't know of any demo version available for download - fails to start with the following messages: err:module:import_dll Library ntoskrnl.exe (which is needed by L"C: \\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SSHDRV82.sys") not found err:module:import_dll Library HAL.dll (which is needed by L"C: \\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SSHDRV82.sys") not found err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C: \\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SSHDRV82.sys" failed, status c0000135 fixme:advapi:GetFileSecurityW (L"c:\\windows\\profiles\\All Users\\Dokumente\\PCD312.L!C") : returns fake SECURITY_DESCRIPTOR fixme:advapi:GetFileSecurityW (L"c:\\windows\\profiles\\All Users\\Dokumente\\PCD312.L!C") : returns fake SECURITY_DESCRIPTOR At the same time a dialog appears "Bitte legen Sie einen Datenträger in ihr CD-/DVD-Laufwerk ein und starten sie die Anwendung erneut" (= "Please insert medium in your CD/DVD drive and restart application") which I confirm and then I'm back at the command line. I for example have: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 73044 Mar 24 23:02 libXext.a lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Apr 30 21:58 libXext.so -> libXext.so.6.4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Apr 30 21:58 libXext.so.6 -> libXext.so.6.4 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 53508 Mar 24 23:04 libXext.so.6.4 right there.Maybe you miss the static library libXext.a. I guess this is not an error in wine, but an error on your setup.
