I'm running WoW on Wine using a 6600GT, AMD64 2800 (754), 1.5GB RAM, Ubuntu 6.06LTS. The version of Wine I'm using is from the repository referenced on Wine's web site. WoW runs in the emulated DirectX mode, but when I enable -opengl, the flicker bug presents itself. Will a future version of Wine be correcting this issue? I'm also interested in compiling together a listing of all the possible points-of-entry for configuring and troubleshooting WoW when running via Wine. For example: wine's regedit, WoW's .WTF, card-specific driver panels, runtime flags, console output, crash logs... My best reason is that I can't consistently guarantee performance and stability just yet.
