In turn Wine looses track of the mouse and character freezes in the game. Forcing game to reinitialize by changing screen resolution or toggling windowed/full-screen mode "cures" the problem. This happens because game attempts to set exclusive coop mode but fails (bug 6960). And instead ending up using background cooperative mode with dinput, which should not touch position of existing mouse pointer. Top shows winevdm using up all the cpu.
