Summary: 0.9.9 breaks textures in LFS
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.9.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: s_illes79(a)yahoo.com
With version 0.9.9 of wine Live for speed 0.3H looks very strage. The car looks
like a rainbow and there are lots of missing textures:

in 0.9.8 it was playable ( almost everything fine, except some minor bugs, no
dashboard, red and blue was mix up )

I tried with latest cvs, playing 30min CS:S no crash in WinXP mode; in Win98
mode game crashes on exit and at the connection to some servers.
I think this bug is either invald or solved.

yes your are right! Problem is solved; game starts.
With activated pixel shaders in winecfg, game has major graphical glitches but
without pixel shaders, game run fine like never before.

Vitaliy, I'm really sorry if I offended you :-(. I was just so excited to
finally be able to use OziExplorer without having to reboot to WINDOWS. I'm
afraid I am not quite such a purist as you .... I guess my philosophy leans more
towards bringing more people over into the LINUX / WINE camp, while at the same
time improving WINE so as eventually to not need pieces of WINDOWS (although it
appears that Tony has found a solution not involving DLL's).
And many thanks, Tony, in showing us how to carry this on to the next step.
I'll try creating a 'HHCtrl.OCX' in my next test (with a pure WINE installation
:-) ).
Incidentally I wrote to Des Newman, the author of OziExplorer, asking if there
was some way he could make it more compatible with WINE, but have had no response.

Please do not Paste Logs/BT's Attache instead. It does not help with discussions...
