I guess there must be a problem with your (ATI-) drivers /settings (crash in fglrx_dri.so). When I deselect the default OSS Driver and select it again and apply the changes I never get the attached error when using winecfg and clicking on the audio tab. In PartyPoker I was experiencing the cards dealing sound looping over and over after various amounts of time. Since I rechecked the OSS Driver I haven't experienced this problem with the sound since.
