hi ,
i think i have found a bug while trying to run World of Warcraft.
the wine tries to grab some files from the /home/sword/wine-0.9.11 directory but
that isn't right.
i have paste binned the error and output from my terminal and i hope u can look
at it.
the pastebin is underneath this line:

I'd remove this from Baldur's Gate. It would crash like this in Windows. It
would either CTD or Bluescreen, either at random, saving or going through an
area transition.

I've tested that with the 32bit distributed.net client with the same result.
The crashes do not depend on 64/32bit and depend not on the core, the client
runs (ogr-p2,rc5-72). Are there other experiences with crunchers that conflict wine?

This doesn't appear to be a major issue, however it is the last hicup in getting
macromedia dreamweaver 8 (and probably other macromedia apps) installing on wine.
With previous versions of wine it didn't get this far, now I get all the way
upto installing the files and I get the following error;

seems to be related to the InstallFinalize/ExecuteAction as the installer is
running perfectly until these two errors are spat out.
Also I am not using any native DLLs just wine rpms for fedora 5.

(it was also submitted to wine appdb)
this application is also affected by this bug (wine 0.9.11)
when you press play then first music start to play
without patch you provided it plays for some time (2-3 minutes), then sounds get
garbled and sometimes it sounds as if it would be played in incorrect speed and
then this critical section problem appears
with patch sounds get garbled and all these audible problems remain, but
critical section problem will disappear. only err:wave i found in log was
'err:wave:DSDB_CreateMMAP checks initialized.', so no help here
i also tried to set audio to another system, with ess it didn't worked (sound
played but whole application was slowed down terribly and sound was also full of
pauses), with oss it crashed wine. so alsa seems to be only one which works?
i hope it will help, if nothing else then it is easier to test with this app,
there is no need to install anything and it also doesn't need so much space

Created an attachment (id=2255)

full output (WINEDEBUG=+ole,+variant,+typelib) [with patch]
Hi
Sorry for this big delay.
07.04.2006 I got wine sources from CVS.
I am not developer but I found info how to apply patches.
After downloading "sltg_dispatch.diff" file I start with command:
patch -p0 < sltg_dispatch.diff
in wine source root directory.
I got question about path and file name - I wrote full path to file
"typelib.c" and there was not any error messages.
Next I start compilation and installation with command:
./tools/wineinstall
Attached file was produced by command:
WINEDEBUG=+ole,+variant,+typelib wine "C:\Flora_ojczysta\flora.exe"

Hello,
I've tried "Baldurs Gate 1.1.4315" under Suse10.0 (64bit) with the rpm from
sf.net. Everytime I save the game (explicit or implicit), wine crashes without a
warning. Searching broght to daylight, that the distributed.net client I'm
running (v2.9011-496-CFR-05060815)(64bit/linux) seems to be involved somehow.
I disabled the client and wine crashed only once in that way (in 10 hours
playtime). After that I configured the distributed.net client to flush its
out-buffers, which made wine crash not so often. But it crashes still...
Do you have an idea?

I do have permission. I am actually the owner and when I run:
wine DVDShrink.exe d:
drive is read.
The problem is that DVDShrink/DVD Decrypter can not find it in File Open/initially.
