The easiest thing to do is a regression test to see which patch broke the game.
Because it's only been broken a day or so, you should find the patch pretty
quickly.

There may be other bugs, but Hans' patch fixed this one, yes?

Summary: BadMatch when starting WoW 1.11
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.15.
Platform: PC
URL: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=5109
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: alex(a)thehandofagony.com
World of Warcraft worked fine until the 1.11 update was applied; now it
crashes with the following error
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request: 467
Current serial number in output stream: 467
It appears to work perfectly for one person, using ATI Radeon 9550, so this is
perhaps a conflict with the nVidia drivers. This has been tested on two
different systems, both with nVidia cards.

Stub for SystemFunction035
Emilie, could you retry with this patch to advapi32, and using native secur32,
schannel, crypt32, and msasn1?
Everyone else: this won't work with all built-in DLLs at the moment. In
particular, it's missing an implementation of SSL in secur32. Traces of
winsock won't show anything useful. Wine supports https in wininet, but that's
irrelevant to this bug.
I'd love for a volunteer to work on SSL to step forward...

I know, I thought I should just let you know that it's fixed their side in a
patch so isn't as much of an issue (but still worth fixing for the sake of
perfection).

It worked fine till I updated my copy of the CVS earlier today. Wine still works
fine for other things (I've been playing Half-Life and such since) it's just WA
that's broken for me.

This looks like a crash in the application. The question is why. Try a
seh, relay trace to see what it's doing before the crash. Attach here if needed
(you may want to bzip2 it if it's large.)

Hmm, unless it's not installed or updated properly (I'm assuming it worked in a
previous version), that looks like a new bug to me.

The bug was opened for the missing pixel format. The game patch changed it. The
mouse cursor is a different problem and I think there is or should be a bug
report for that with Pirates.

Crashlog without ddraw.dll present
It crashes with OR WITHOUT the ddraw.dll file as I stated in my initial post so
this IS NOT bug 4009 as I have already said twice now.
Second crashlog attached, this time I deleted the ddraw.dll file first (I tried
it with and without it before, it made no difference).
