In the short term, we're using Mozilla for rendering, which works, but it renders like Mozilla and not IE. Are you saying that the DLLs installed by those scripts are somehow broken, or how the script configures everything to work together somehow breaks this functionality? Will it ever be possible to run IE in Wine without any scripts and get the same rendering behaviors that IE exhibits under Windows? If you are running IE, then that means you used ies4linux to install IE, and you are overriding at least shdocvw.dll and mshtml.dll (and about 50 other dlls).
