i have nearly the same output with a current CVS build, though aditionally there
is this line:

I have a similar behavior of starcraft... Maybe It's my fault too, but I can
provide you some logs.

Tested in a console, and get the same error, as well as some err:imagelist
errors as cmd.exe starts - which I assume is just because no X server is available.
Also - the crash doesn't occur with "rename", which just reports "Path not
found" as it should.

Well, I am doing some regression testing now, but I will when my tree is
available. BTW, have you test this behaviour in plain console (Ctrl-Alt-F1)
while in a wait for my answer?

It seems to me that this behaviour was fixed in wine 0.9.21. At least I can not
reproduce it with emule 0.47c. Can anybody confirm that?

if i remember correctly it also works with newer wineversions if you compile
wine with "CFLAGS = -O0" , but you'd have to try that to be sure
