These are the errors. ALthough I did not watch the entire intro, the stuttering appeared to be consistent, maybe 1.5-2 times per second. When it came to the intro movie, the sound began to stutter mildly. As the movie progressed the stutters occured more and more frequently, from about once every 5-10 seconds to 3-4 times per second. The first time I ran moo2, no menu came up after I pressed space to clear the then-horrible intro movie (I pressed alt-f4 after a few seconds of blank screen). The second time I ran moo2 I skipped the intro after hearing the first stutter and got onto the menu, and saw a double cursor. The menu itself stuttered mildy and was quite slow. I tryed to start a new game and went to the first screen (universe variables and creation) when the cursor froze (after perhaps a few seconds time). again I alt-f4ed. This is where I am at now. After previous moo2 probs and reading about other moo2 probs, I realize some of this is pure duplication. For me, MOO2 runs fine except for the sound, and IMHO it's still an unsolved problem why it works for some people but not for other people. The best you can do is to add yourself to the Cc of the bugs affecting you, and respond if anyone is asking for more information (you can also vote for the bugs that affect you). I mean I understand that the initial bug has been solved, but as I am also interested in a attaining a playable state in moo2, I would like to solve my new problems.
